A star lit up, just above the horizon.

a faint glow,

two minutes from now it's gone.

Another system has turned to dust and stone.

It has always been the eternal cycle,

a sun went down, and another will take it's place.

The matter of everything that was and will.

It's a cold fact, that the top of creation,

the pinnacle that he shone his light upon,

is nothing but the afterglow and dust

of Stars of solid Diamond.

We were fooling around, we put our dead to the ground,

we built cities of stone.

We had a burning desire, we put fuel to the fire,

we were special...

like Stars of solid Diamond.

It started out, when the fire fell from the sky,

and we gathered around the flames,

and we stared into the light of the ember.

It has always been the eternal cycle,

a man went down and another will take his place,

so we roamed around this world through the ages.

The people say, you were always a healer,

but why can't you cure the burning flame in me.
